Betty Tooyak

Betty Lorene Tooyak , 56, of Franklin, Nebraska, was born July 24, 1956, in Fairbanks Alaska, to Dora Evachuck Tooyak-Weston, and left for her journey to the heavens on March 3, 2013, at the Franklin County Memorial Hospital, Franklin, Nebraska.
She graduated Highland High School in Thornton Colorado, and enrolled at Denver Institute of Technology, and earned a Degree in Graphic Design. She was married, became the mother of two boys, and later divorced.
Betty was preceded in death by -Dora Evachuck Tooyak-Weston, mother; Leslie Elwood Cown, step father; Barbara and husband, Dale Upson, step sister; and Eugene Cown, Nephew.
Survived by her two sons - Sons: Robert Gleitz and Anthony Gleitz; grandchildren - Robert Gleitz JR,
Nicolas Gleitz, and Grace Gleitz; her siblings - Charles Cown, wife Sharon, Colo., Richard Cown, Colo, Rosa Hanson, husband Bob, Colorado, Mishal Gaede, Alaska, John Cown, wife Mary, Nebraska, Lara Al-Akabawey, husband Mohamed, Colo., and Rodney Cown, Colo.; her Neices / Nephews - Laree, Teddy, Chad, Angie, Arlene, Laura,Lisa, Clayton, Valerie, Brittanie, Kaleb, Mick, Bob, Gary, Jayme, Schuyler, Angelina, Crystal; and Great neices / nephews - Adrian, Devin, MaKaylinn, Selyna, Justice, Little Rob, Wyatt, Brooke, Allie, Cameron, Brooklyn, Teresa, Tina, Toby, and Tony; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A memorial celebration will be Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at the Golden Living Center, Franklin, Nebraska, with Pastor Nancy Leonard officiating. The family would accept memorials to help with expenses. The family will greet friends at the Golden Living Center, Franklin, Nebraska, Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
