Carl Bolle

Carl Bolle, age 89, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Franklin, NE. He was born on August 5, 1919 on a farm near Macon, NE to Theodore and Dorthea (Aschemann) Bolle, Sr., and lived in Franklin County most of his life. On June 23, 1943 he was united in marriage to Florence Greening at Macon, NE. She preceded him in death on October 22, 1975. During the Depression years he worked for the CCC Camp at Ravenna, NE. He served as County Supervisor for 16 years and enjoyed farming until his retirement. He moved to Bloomington in 1991. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the great outdoors.

He is survived by his four children: Frank Bolle, Franklin, NE; Esther Marcum & husband Jerry, Franklin, NE; Delores Johnson & husband Lyle, Bloomington, NE; Mary Bolle, Bloomington, NE; Grandchildren: Audra Klotthor, Pam Hampl, and Kevin Marcum; great grandchildren: Bryant adn Brandi Klotthor, Faith Hampl, and Cody Marcum. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother- Ted Bolle and sister- Marie Dunn.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Gracec Lutheran Church, Franklin, Nebraska with Rev. Ronald Kuehner officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM to 8PM Tuesday and Wednesday January 6 & 7 at Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bloomington, Nebraska. The family suggests memorials to the Grace Lutheran Church.
