Clarence Nichols

Clarence Jay Nichols was born April 26, 1929 in Franklin, Nebraska to Joseph Lee and Lulu Nichols Nichols. He passed away from this life on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital, Franklin, Nebraska at the age of 81.

He attended grade school in Franklin, and graduated from Riverton High School. He worked for Adams Construction for 31 years.

He is survived by his sister Dorothy Riggins, and niece Connie Riggins, both of Riverton, Nebraska. Nephews: Wayne Greening, Ronnie Nichols, Franklin, NE; Jerry Bronson, Columbus, NE; Randy Nichols, Lincoln, NE; many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers- Carl Leroy and Richard; and sister- Velma June Bronson.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Riverton Cemetery, Riverton, Nebraska, with Rev. Nancy Leonard officiating. Friends may sign the guest book from 8AM to 5PM Thursday and Friday. The body was cremated.

The family suggests memorials to the Riverton Legion.
