Connie (Bonham) Fink was born January 6, 1937 in Agra, KS to Delbert Ray Gooder and Wilma Irene (Norton). This was the beginning of a lifelong adventure.
Connie was happy at home on the farm with her husband, Dean. She loved the simple everyday life; especially checking cattle with Dean. Together they shared a love for boating and traveling with friends creating memories that always seemed to have an adventuresome twist! She also loved spending time with her friends on the golf course and playing cards.
After Dean’s passing, she met and married John Fink and settled into a quiet village in Florida that eventually grew up around them. Their home on the golf course was an inspiration to many of her paintings. Connie’s gift for capturing beauty came to life on canvas. She loved sharing her artwork at shows and gifting her paintings to friends and neighbors.
As often happens in life, she ended up right back where she began spending her final years close to her family and friends here in Franklin. After a life well lived, she entered her eternal home on July 4, 2024. Thank you to everyone who loved and cared for her along her journey,
Connie’s wit and sense of humor brought us many laughs and smiles, “When life gives you a pickle, make lemonade!”
Hutchins Funeral Home assisted with these cremation arrangements.
