Franklin resident Dolores "Dee" Cahill age 77 passed away Thursday December 4, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Franklin, NE. Dolores was born in Riverton, NE on April 24, 1931 to Arthur and Gladys (Collins) Stevens. Dolores graduated from Riverton High School in 1949. She was united in marriage to Dale Worman on July 29, 1949. To this union were born 4 children: Pam, Craig, Kris and Jill. Dale preceded her in death on April 17, 1975. Dolores later married Patrick Cahill on March 19, 1983. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Franklin and various church groups. She volunteered for the blood mobile and the election board. Dolores loved playing cards with her many friends, gardening, dancing and being a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by: her husband Pat Cahill of Franklin, NE; daughter: Pam Wilsman and husband Jim of Camdenton, MO; daughter Kris Minnick and friend Brian Johnson of Alma, NE; daughter: Jill Epley of Lake City, FL; son: Craig Worman of Franklin, NE; Grandchildren: Kasi DiBello and husband Paul of Camdenton, MO; Andy Wilsman and wife Missie of Camdenton, MO; Cameron Baker and husband James of Austin, TX; Clinton Worman of Ft. Worth, TX; Joshua Minnick and friend Angie Walter of Naponee, NE; Brach Epley of North Platte, NE; Jeff Epley of Lake City, FL; Wade Epley of Ft. Riley, KS; Great Grandchildren: Andrew, Blake and Lillian DiBello of Camdenton, MO; Breanna and Alexx Wilsman and Jake Garrett of Camdenton, MO; Other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Gladys Stevens; husband, Dale Worman; sister Betty Kahrs; brother Charles Stevens; and grandson, Jeremiah Acker.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, December 8, 2008 at the First United Congregational Church of Christ with Rev. Herman Keen officating. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 8 PM Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin, NE. the family suggests memorials to the Dolores "Dee" Cahill Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
