Dora Dorn

Dora (Bienhoff) Dorn died and entered into eternal rest with her Creator and Redeemer on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Franklin, Nebraska. Dora was born on January 11, 1924 near Macon, Nebraska to John and Lizzie (Stuhmer) Bienhoff. She graduated from high school at Franklin Public School in 1941. On June 17, 1945 Dora married the love of her life, Henry Dorn, in Macon, Nebraska. This union was blessed with 4 sons, Dennis, Paul, Wendell, and Merle. Dora was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church, Women of ELCA, and played the organ at Zion for many years. Dora is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry; her brothers, Orval, Vernon, and John; and grandson Steven Dorn. Left to treasure her memories are her children; Dennis and wife Sara Dorn, Franklin, Paul and wife Pat Dorn, Minden, Wendell and wife Debbie Dorn, Franklin, Merle and wife Kathryn Dorn, Franklin, 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, sister Esther Tordsen, Sioux Falls, SD, brother, Donald and wife Mary Jane Bienhoff, Omaha, and sister Anna Rust, Riverton. Memorials will be determined at a later date. Services will held at Zion Lutheran Church, Macon, Nebraska on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2 P.M. Visitation will Tuesday, December 4, from 8 AM to 8 PM, and Wednesday, December 6, from 8 AM to 11 AM.
