Leona Borgman

Leona Borgman was born September 7, 1917 in Macon, Nebraska to William and Ricka Bruns Eckhoff. She passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Golden Living Center, Franklin, Nebraska at the age of 92.

She attended school at District 9 for two years, and then District 67 for the remaining years. She married Henry Theodore Borgman on March 28, 1940 in Hildreth, NE. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1981. She was a homemaker. She worked for many people in Franklin for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hildreth.

She is survived by her brother Norm Eckhoff and wife Willalena, Franklin, NE and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hildreth, Nebraska with Pastor Patti Byrne officiating. Visitation will be 10 AM to 8 PM Friday, December 4, 2009 at Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church.
