Luigi Bartaloni was born November 6, 1918 in Detroit Michigan, to Joseph and Liza (Baccani) Bartaloni and passed away on November 5, 2007, at the age of 88 at the Golden Living Center in Franklin, Nebraska. Luigi went to high school in Michigan, and served our country in World War II. Luigi had made Naponee his home for many years. He took pleasure in the outdoors and could be found hunting and fishing to his heart's content. Luigi was a wonderful handyman and painted many houses around the area. He enjoyed his large garden, and claimed the fame of having raised the "World's Smallest Rabbit". Luigi will truly be missed by many Franklin County residents. Luigi was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a brother, Ampelio Bartaloni, and a niece, Lorrena Roseann Clark, both of Michigan. Luigi was buried in the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan on November, 10, 2007.
