Lydia Fegter

Lydia Henryetta Fegter was born December 31, 1918 in Franklin, County, Nebraska to Thomas and Marie Kuster. She passed away from this life on December 25, 2009 at Golden Living Center at the age of 90.

She attended country school south of Macon, NE. She married George Fegter on October 8, 1939 at Zion Lutheran Church, Macon, NE. She was a housekeeper for numerous years at the hospital. She belonged to Ladies Aide and Zion Lutheran Church.

She is survived by daughter Elvera Frerichs and husband Dale, Hildreth, NE; Sons Gerald Fegter and wife Marti, Texas; Dewayne Fegter and wife Judy, Kearney, NE; Grandchildren: Rick Frerichs and wife Denise, Minden, NE; Lori Frerichs, Rossville, KS; Karen Frerichs, Hildreth, NE; Tarcia Tost, Puyallup, WA; Amy Spawn and husband Jason, Texas; Stephanie Martin and husband Michael, Texas; Michael Fegter and wife Mary, Kearney, NE; Chris Fegter and wife Ann, Lincoln, NE; 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 6 sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church, Macon, Nebraska with Pastors Baron and Nancy Cole officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 8 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Macon, Nebraska. The family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church.
