Dorothy M. Gray

Dorothy Margaret Gray, daughter of Lawrence and Jessie (Terrell) Gray, was born October 24, 1936 in Franklin, Nebraska. She passed from this life Tuesday, October 24, 2023 while living in Modesto, California at the age of 87 years.

While growing up in Franklin, she attended the public schools. Following high school she attended school for cosmetology and she worked as a hair stylist her entire working career. Dorothy spent her adult life in California. In her spare time, loved to sketch and painting with pastels and water colors. She also enjoyed being a part of the "Red Hats" society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Leota Collins, Betty Brooks and Fern Gray; and her brother Duane Gray. Dorothy is survived by her niece Candy Brooks, Grand Island and nephew Kenneth Brooks and wife Osa, Hastings.

Dorothy will be laid to rest with her family in Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin, Nebraska.
