Margaret Williams

Margaret M. (Richter) Williams, of Franklin, Nebraska, was one of four children born to William C. and Mamie A. (Quinn) Richter on September 28, 1938 at Naponee, Nebraska. She died March 15, 2017 at her home in Franklin, Nebraska, at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 17 days. She lived and attended school in Naponee and the Oxford area. She married Tommy H. Williams at Fort Riley, Kansas. Over the years she had lived in Stuttgart, Germany; Hanau, Germany; Aberdeen, Maryland; Currituck, North Carolina; and Franklin, Nebraska. Margaret was a sports fan, especially the Nebraska Huskers. She enjoyed taking care of her dogs, and was an exceptional cook. Her motto was I live to eat, and I eat to live. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister. She leaves to mourn her death, her five children - Tammy Rodriguez of Franklin, Nebraska, Brenda Swilley of Franklin, Nebraska, Jerry Williams of Arkansas; Dale Williams of Washington; and Lynn Williams of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Margaret M. Williams, was cremated, and her cremains were laid to rest on Monday, March 20, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Scott Randall officiating at the graveside.
