Marie Deffenbaugh

Marie Elaine Deffenbaugh , 75 years of age, of Franklin passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Golden Living Center-Franklin in Franklin. She was born on April 15, 1937 in Riverton, Nebraska to Walter B. and Bernice Lorraine (Barnhill) LaRue. Marie worked as a nurse aid for over 30 years at the Golden Living Center in Franklin Marie loved crocheting, watching "Little House On The Prairie" and "The Waltons" on tv. She was especially proud of her brother Wayne and her mom. She will also be remembered for her love of potato chips.

Marie is survived by her nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Glenda, sister, Marcilla, Brother Melvin and Wayne.

Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin. Condolences may be left online at www.hutchinsfh.com.
