Marjorie was united in marriage to Bernard Dean Gartin November 27, 1949. This union was blessed with two sons, Robert and William. Except for several years when she accompanied her husband while he was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, Marjorie and Dean lived in Franklin.

husband in 2006.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son Robert (wife Lana) of Rocklin, California, her son William (wife Linda) of Fort Worth, Texas, two grandchildren Tom (wife Miranda) and Erin. Her grieving sister Margaret Billings still resides in Lincoln, Nebraska.
