Patricia Versaw

Patricia Marion (Crouse) Versaw, of Minden, Nebraska, was born December 16, 1943, at Bloomington, Nebraska to Charles Everett and Ruby Mary (Shelton) Crouse. She went to be with her heavenly father on June 10, 2016 at the Kearney Health System Hospital, in Minden, Nebraska, at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 24 days.

Patricia had 18 brothers and sisters. She was in the middle. She was a quality control inspector for Martin - Marietta Corporation in Colorado, until she was injured. Pat moved back to Franklin, and lived there until entering the Bethany Home in Minden, Nebraska, in 2015. Bethany Home opened their arms to Pat and her family. Treated her as person not a patient, and extended great care and concern for her comfort and needs. Pat enjoyed eating tomatoes and cucumbers.
She married Lawrence Versaw. To this union three children were born. Lawrence died in December 2002.
She is survived by her children - Karmen and husband, Pete Grondin of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Karen Fay Akridge of Franklin, Nebraska, and Larry Stuart Versaw of Lincoln, Nebraska; 6 grandchildren - Lauren Grondin, Peter Grondin, Jr., Craig Akridge, Rebecca Slorf, Jesseca White, and Patricia Akridge; 7 great-grandchildren - Shawn White, McKenzie Minnick, Micheal McCollun, Hailey McCollun, Jace White, Taylor Akridge, and Kaliber Minniok; 3 sisters - Cecile Goebel, Betty Milton and Judy Milff; 4 brothers - Bill Crouse, Russell Crouse, Bob Crouse, and Merle Crouse; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives, friends, and the caring staff at Bethany Home.

A celebration of life for Patricia Marion (Crouse) Versaw will be (was) 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the Republican City Cemetery, Republican City, Nebraska, with Pastor Kasey Loschen officiating. Inurnment will follow in the cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Mid-Nebraska Community Action, in care of the funeral home. Online condolences can be left at www.hutchinsfh.com.
